Weston host Somerset County Cricket Club in a T20 benefit game for Arul Suppiah.
THE highlight in Weston’s cricketing calendar takes place next Wednesday (July 3) when the town’s club plays host to Somerset County Cricket Club in a T20 benefit game for Arul Suppiah.
Tickets for the game, which starts at 6pm (gates open at 4pm), are available from Weston Cricket Club and the club shop at the Taunton County Ground priced at £8 for adults and £3 for children, while a family ticket is on offer priced at £20 for two adults and two children.
The game will serve as Somerset’s final warm-up before they start their Friends Life T20 campaign, meaning that all of their star players such as Marcus Trescothick, Craig Kieswetter, Pete Trego and Jos Buttler will be in action.
Fully licenced bars will be in operation and there will also be hot food for sale. Limited parking is available, however this will be on a first come first served basis. The club would urge all spectators to bear this in mind when planning their journey to the ground, which can also be accessed from an adjacent bus stop served by the number seven bus.
