Victoria Bowls Club presented a cheque to Weston Hospicecare, the result of a fine system at the club.
DURING the outdoor bowling season of 2012, Victoria Bowls Club captain, Mick Manning and vice-captain, Cliff Chudley fined members during matches for any inappropriate actions, incorrect dress or any other misdemeanour that they felt warranted chastisement.
These fines were donated to Weston Hospicecare and at the annual Christmas Eve draw at the club, a cheque for 400 was presented to John Vincent of Weston Hospicecare by Mick Manning.
