A PARALYMPIC Torch visited a Worle supermarket this week - much to onlookers’ delight.
Sainsbury’s customers got a chance to catch a glimpse of the beacon as part of a tour of the UK.
The Paralympic Torch Experience sees three torches travel to 61 Sainsbury’s stores across the country in 10 days.
The one that visited the Worle store in Queensway will be one of 620 torches that will be used in the 24-hour relay that takes place from Aylesbury, the home of the Paralympic Movement, to the Olympic Park in Stratford, London, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
