Clarence gave an impressive performance at North Petherton, winning by eight shots.
CLARENCE indoor mixed team had one of their best results of the season when they won by eight shots away to North Petherton.
Adjusting well to the unfamiliar, wide-open spaces of a three-rink venue, compared with their own narrow green, they finished up on two rinks, with Andy McMillan’s four going down only narrowly.
North Petherton 48, Clarence 56: M Woods, L Oldham, G Cooper, A McMillan 19-23; B Rossiter, B Difford, M Edlin, V Jones 20-14; A Bishop, T Mannion, A Powell, G Barlow 17-11.
