Lloyd Humphries says Weston AFC will go to Poole Town "trying to get another three points" in their next Southern Premier South encounter on Saturday.
The Seagulls took four points from their two meetings last season, including a 3-0 win at the Tatnam Ground in November, and are unbeaten in their last three matches with the Dolphins.
Second-half goals from Dayle Grubb, Jordan Bastin and Scott Laird secured that triumph last Autumn and Humphries says they will go to Dorset with sights on another success.
"I think we have got an alright record there in the past," he told Weston Mercury Sport.
"We did well there last season, had a win. It's a bigger pitch so it will suit us down to the ground. Hopefully this rain holds off a bit because it can get a bit wet down there, but looking forward and just trying to get another three points.
"It was a good win there last season to be honest. We won 3-0 but I don't think we were at our best and we were clinical that day. Hopefully it will be similar again."
Weston have picked up seven points from their first three games this season, including successive wins against Gosport Borough and Yate Town this week.
And three of those points have come from losing positions, as the Seagulls fought back to pick up a point at Bracknell Town after goals from Grubb and Academy graduate Ben Griffith's last-ditch equaliser in the 97th minute.
Tuesday's 3-2 win against Yate Town saw Weston twice come from behind before snatching victory with a 90th-minute penalty from Grubb.
Humphries said the aim is to keep their unbeaten run going for as long as they can - and once defeat comes it is all about how they recover.
He added: "Obviously it goes without saying doesn't it? We want to keep that unbeaten run going as long as we can, put in solid performances but when that loss comes eventually it's about bouncing back, being resilient and brushing it off.
"The games come thick and fast and you are into the next one without even thinking about it.
"We just want to keep this good start to the season going on as long as we can and we have grinded out two results now.
"At Bracknell we scored in the 97th minute and I think it was about the 90th today (against Yate). We kept going to the end and they are going to be massive points for us at the end of the year."
