Weston AFC forward Marlon Jackson said it is up to his side to be "professional and get the job done" against Helston Athletic at The Optima Stadium in the FA Cup on Saturday

The Seagulls beat Basingstoke Town 4-2 before Reuben Reid's only goal of the game overcame Shepton Mallet to reach the Third Qualifying Round for the fourth successive season.

And Jackson said they are wary of the threat Athletic, who had never been beyond the Preliminary Round before this year, will bring, especially after what Mallet did in the previous round.

"It's going to be a tough game, it always is," he said.

"Even Shepton Mallet last time we played and (we picked up) a 1-0 win, it was a professional game but they did cause us problems.

"We know that this team they have not got to this round for no reason, they are obviously a good team.

"We obviously don't know too much about them but the coach will do his research and tell us exactly their weaknesses. It is up to us to be professional and get the job done."

Weston will go into the tie in confident mood following an unbeaten start to the season. And Jay Murray says they will go into the tie with no fear.

He said: "We are not afraid of no one, especially at home. Everyone knows if they come here it is going to be a hard graft, especially the form we are playing at the minute.

"So, we take it as we come along and put pressure on and I am sure we will get goal after goal. I'm looking to it."

The Toolstation Western League Premier Division side are yet to taste defeat on the road this season and are unbeaten in their last 14 games in all competitions.

And Jackson said it is up to the senior players to help the young players to help them get over the line in the World's Oldest Football Competition.

"We have got a good mix of younger lads and experienced pros it is up to us to bring us through and say just because they are two leagues below and on that one-off day, they can be world-beaters so it is up to us to make sure we are professional.

"If we do our job and if we do that then we will have no problems."
