Weston Pool League's Division One - sponsored by TM Heating & Plumbing - saw no change at the top in the last round of matches before the Christmas break.
Ministry Of Pool saw off bottom side Deep Screw 10-3 to retain their four-point lead at the top. Gurneys kept up their title challenge with an identical result against AFDs, to remain in second.
Stubs had a trickier time against Smash as they managed to come back from 6-4 down to 6-6 but Ash Warwick was unable to take the final frame from James Carr, allowing Smash to draw level with their defeated opponents with eight points each.
De-Ciders managed to get their second win of the season with a comprehensive 11-2 win over Breaking Bad.
Division Two, sponsored by Prowash Catering Equipment Suppliers, saw a new team at the top as Regency Rapscallions cruised to a 9-4 victory over bottom side Bristol House B.
There was more misery at the bottom for 49 Club as they lost 9-4 at Walnut Whips. Third placed Bristol House kept their position and their title challenge with a 7-6 win against Cardboard Cutouts.
Division Three - sponsored by The Walnut Tree - remains incredibly tight, thanks to third placed Captains Seaman defeating leaders Allstars Shockers in a nailbiting 7-6 victory that went down to the final frame. In addition, Social Madmen had a close match at home against bottom side Headhunters, eventually winning 8-5, and this victory leaves all three teams on 10 points apiece with just two frames separating new leaders Social Madmen from Allstars Shockers.
Just below on eight points are Original Headcases, themselves having a very tight match against The Dark Side. They kept their title challenge fresh after coming back from six frames by winning the last two and grabbing two points as they did so.
Division Four - sponsored by DK Metals - saw Rebels beat Reds 8-5 whilst The Bear Behinders beat bottom side The Crew 9-4. This means that both teams are on eight points from six matches, and both have a frames difference of plus six. Close behind them are Tavern Townies, who won 11-2 at home to The Regency, and though they too have eight points their frame difference has dropped to plus two.
There's a clear leader in Division Five - sponsored by WRS Alarms - as Hartbreakers beat bottom side Skinnys 7-6. Pool Britannia second from bottom status was not improved after a 9-4 loss to Usual Suspects.
Motley Crew moved up the table thanks to an 8-5 win over Black Balls Matter that sees both teams level on six points.
Finally, there was little change in Division Six - sponsored by AP Signs - with top two teams Walnut Warriors and Rack Em Up both recording wins.
A 7-6 defeat of Lords Of The Manor means Walnut Warriors go into the break with a two point lead, whilst Rack Em Up's identical result against Borough Bashers keeps the two points behind in second. At the bottom end Frames Count got a nice 11-2 victory against the winless High Rollers.
