The two-horse race in Weston Pool League’s Division One - sponsored by TM Heating & Plumbing - just got closer, with Ministry Of Pool and Gurneys now neck and neck at the top with 18 points each.
Whilst Ministry Of Pool lost to third placed Smash on a deciding leg, Gurneys did the reverse across the room against De Ciders, with Tom Perrett putting them just two frames behind the leaders.
In Division Two - sponsored by Prowash Catering Equipment & Supplies - top team Old Konk's Donk gave themselves some breathing space as they defeated Cardboard Cutouts at home, whilst second placed Regency Rapscallions fell off the pace with a 7-6 nailbiting loss against third placed Bristol House.
Division Three - sponsored by The Walnut Tree - saw leaders Allstars Shockers stay on top after a 9-4 home win over Original Headcases, whilst Originals moved into second with a Social Club derby win over Social Madmen.
The table is still tight, with Shockers two points clear of Originals and Captains Seaman, but their frame difference is so good it basically equates to another two points.
Division Four - sponsored by DK Metals - is another close one, but it's a little closer after leaders Bear Behinders lost 7-6 at home to Tavern Townies, with Lee Pheasant stopping a four-match losing streak for the visitors by clinching the last frame.
Second placed Frames Fugitives also lost, to The Regency, and this now means that there are four teams sitting just two points behind the leaders.
Division Five - sponsored by WRS Alarms - has been effectively won now by Hartbreakers, who have destroyed all opposition and confirmed the title with a 10-3 win over Pool Britannia.
Nice Rack sit four points behind in second, and kept their place after Ray Mills took the deciding frame to beat third placed Usual Suspects and go two points above them at at the same time.
A solid 10-3 win against The Ancaster saw Rackem Up go top of Division Six - sponsored by AP Signs - with just a six frames difference over Walnut Warriors.
When the two teams meet in a couple of weeks it may well decide the divisional winner.
