Winscombe AFC are still looking for a new manager to lead the first team.

The Combe have been without a manager since Rikki Hutt's shock departure in February.

The club has a fully supportive committee, a super clubhouse, a Reserve team in the county league, together with its own floodlit training facilities and floodlit main pitch, and – as described – a growing junior, and youth set up.

Existing caretaker manager Matt Wright said. “It has been a hard decision to step down from leading the first team as I love this club but after over three years of managing this talented team I must step back now and give some time to my young family and my growing work commitments.

"Whoever takes over from me will have an excellent group of players to work with."

Chairman Andy Flint added: “The First team manager’s position is such a key part of the club and is a role that is looked up to by all other managers and players.”

Those interested in applying for the position of First team manager at this long established club should contact chairman Andy Flint on 077809 12646 or by e-mail to a.j.flint@btinternet.com.
