Despite only winning on two of the six rinks Clarence Blues took their match against Isle of Wedmore on a superior shot tally in their OFL match.

Outstanding Rink of the Day came from Mike Fry and Ferdi skipped by Gordon Leigh who took the first seven ends without reply, in fact they only dropped three ends all match, they ran out winners by 25-shots. Their second rink win came from Pete Williams and Mike Samways alongside skip Dave Clifford, having a similar match they ran out winners by 19-shots.

Clarence Ladies picked up one draw and the other two shared from their three rinks but the rink of Tess Langford and Jill Coles, skipped by Jo Mannion, took the match from the start to the opposition, running out with a 10-shot win.

The drawn match with Karol Dibble and Corrine Thomas skipped by Lyn Leigh looked like they were cruising to another win being five shots ahead with four to play, near disaster as they dropped shots on all of them but still managed a draw.

Barry Benn, Rob Skudder and Ken Marshall skipped by Mick Edlin were Clarence A's only winning rink in their SCL match with Portishead RBL.

It was a tough old struggle as it was neck and neck all the way, one to play and it was tied at 15 all, Edlin`s team took the shot to win by one.
