Kelly’s Mob held off the fightback from Congresbury to win the Floodlit Fours Tournament recently.

Kelly's Mob were always ahead but Congresbury came back from being 9-4 down to 12-10 at end 15.

The final stages were even more dramatic with Kelly's Mob picking up a single on end 16 to go three shots ahead only to lose it again to Congresbury and just two shots separated the sides on the last end.

With the two skips to play, the game looked over but Congresbury skip Clive Shipway had spotted three Congresbury bowls resting behind the jack with a narrow gap to feed the jack through!

His bowl was perfect taking the jack back to Congresbury and they were ahead by one shot.

But skip Steve Healey, with his last wood, took careful aim and drew around all the short woods and came in to nestle on the Congresbury bowls and take the shot and victory.

Burnham claimed third after beating St Andrews A.

By the 10th end Burnham were ahead and extended their lead to 14-8 after 14 ends.

The closing stages were dramatic with St Andrews closing to 14 -13 as they went into the final end but Burnham picked up two shots to take the win.
