Counties 3 Tribute Somerset South: Hornets III 36-12 Bridgwater & Albion II
The Hornets RFC Third team are loving life at the moment in the Counties 3 Tribute Somerset South division.
At the weekend, they defeated Bridgwater & Albion Seconds 36-12 at home to record their eight win of the season to date.
It means they remain unbeaten and of course sit firmly at the top of the league table with 40 points from the opening eight fixtures.
In the match itself, Bridgwater & Albion showed some grit to break through the usually rock solid defence of the Hornets.
However in attack, the Hornets were on top form once again running in 36 points with some quality rugby.
A spokesperson for the club said: "A real hard fought 36-12 win over Bridgwater & Albion Rugby Football Club, extends their unbeaten start to the season to 8 games.
"Thank you to everyone that came to watch, fantastic to see so many people braving the elements to support the lads!"
The Hornets Thirds are next in action away from home against Somerton on Saturday, November 11 in what is a top of the table clash.
