Jacob Jagger-Cane said he is “disappointed” Weston AFC’s winning run has ended against Truro City in the National League South this afternoon.
The White Tigers inflicted a 3-2 defeat on the Seagulls, their first loss in eight games after winning their previous seven games in all competitions.
James Dodd put Weston in front in the 26th minute before three goals in 12 second half minutes turned the game on its head.
Will Dean’s long range strike, Harvey Greenslade’s volley and Ryan Law’s rebound put Truro in control before Jagger-Cane scored a consolation for Weston with his first goal of the season.
