Winscombe AFC produced a sensational display in their latest Uhlsport Somerset County League Division Three clash against Somerton Town Reserves, securing a convincing 10-1 victory last Saturday.

Captain Jory Cureton opened the scoring with a free-kick from 35 yards after 16 minutes. 

Ollie Wynn then capitalised on a defensive error, confidently slotting the ball into the bottom corner to double Combe's advantage two minutes later.

Cureton teasing's ball over the top found debutant Jack Andrews, who finished with ease to extend Winscombe's lead in the 19th minutes. 

Somerton pulled one back through Jake Grant before Cureton's free-kick found Michael Hosey to head into the bottom corner and Wynn added to the tally in the 40th minute with a fantastic solo effort.

Winscombe's Wynn slipped the ball to Daniel O'Leary in the 45th minute to confidently slot the ball past home, making it 6-1 at half-time.

Cureton adding the Combe's seventh goal in the 55th minute, with a skilful free-kick on the edge of the area, before Mckenzie Oddy poked the ball home to make it 8-1.

Winscombe made it nine in the 78th with an own goal before goalkeeper Callum Murray kept out the visitors from the spot.

Late on Wynn then delivered a perfectly weighted ball to Tait, who hammered the ball into the net sealing the impressive victory.
