It was a very successful weekend for the Hornets RFC Ladies section as they enjoyed a very strong result at home.
In their match against Aretians RFC, the Hornets Ladies ran in 92 unanswered points to extend their unbeaten run this season.
The whole team put in an epic shift but The Cheddar Spirit Co. Player of the match went to Evie Webster for her solid performance.
spokesperson for the club said: "The ladies extend their unbeaten run with a fantastic 92-0 win over Aretians RFC - An incredible match played in the true spirit of rugby, Aretians never gave up from start to finish!"
Elsewhere, the Hornets RFC Colts were on the road to league leaders Clevedon RFC and came away 17-33 winners putting them top.
The club said: "Another fantastic win for our youngsters, with many of them looking to now start their transition into senior rugby.
"Thanks to all those that came down to support again today!"
