National League South: Weston-super-Mare 3-1 Tonbridge Angels

Weston-super-Mare AFC bounced right back with a win on Saturday, January 27 at home against Tonbridge Angels.

Two goals from Robbie Willmott and one from Lloyd Humphries helped the Seagulls earn the three points at The Optima Stadium.

The first goal came in the 12th minute when Dayle Grubb picked out Willmott who calmly dispatched a finish across Henly and into the bottom corner for 1-0.

In the 30th minute Nathan Odokonyero levelled the score when he was found on the six yard line and tapped home.

Into the second period, Weston were able to take control once again and 50 minutes in Humphries hammered a strike from 20 yards out into the top corner past Henly for 2-1.

And ten minutes later is was 3-1 when an excellent reverse pass from Reuben Reid to Willmott who drove into the area and finished across the keeper.

From there, Weston stayed resolute defensively and held on to their two goal advantage to win the match and move up to 15th in the table.
