Regional 2 Tribute Severn: Swindon 27-25 Winscombe

Wincsombe RFC First XV were narrowly beaten at the weekend in an away trip to Swindon.

The match finished 27-25 to the hosts after what was a very entertaining battle in the Regional Two Tribute Severn division.

The defeat leaves Winscombe in ninth place in the league table while Swindon are in tenth.

Both sides were able to play some quality rugby in the match and either team could have won it but some stubborn defence towards the end earned Swindon the win.

Winscombe can take plenty of positives from the match though and will look to bounce back next week.
