Somerset Premier Division: Uphill Castle 9-2 Clutton 

Uphill Castle FC have moved out of the relegation zone in the Uhlsport Somerset County Premier Division after a big win.

At the weekend, playing at home, they defeated Clutton FC 9-2 and were able to earn their sixth win of the season.

Cam Steer scored a hattrick in the match while Jack Askins bagged two goals for himself.

The other goals came from Aidan McKenna, Toby Yeates, Macauley Lamont and Joe Eyles who all had one a piece.

Man of the match was awarded to the hat trick hero Cam Steer as he was in top form.

A spokesperson from the club said: "A dominant performance for 90 minutes for the lads who were ruthless in front of goal and deserved to win comfortably."

The win takes Uphill Castle to 13th place and out of the relegation zone on goal difference.

Up next they take on sixth-placed Stockwood Wanderers away from home on Saturday, February 10.
