Women's NC 2 South West (Central): Hornets Ladies 52-5 Winscombe Ladies

Hornets RFC Ladies first team have now won ten games from ten in the Women's NC Two South West Central division.

At the weekend they defeated local rivals Winscombe RFC Ladies by 52-5 at home in front of a big crowd.

It was a dominant performance from start to finish as they played some very impressive rugby going forward and defended well.

Player of the match was awarded to Nicole Flouretzou for her fine performance but the whole squad put in a shift.

A spokesperson from the club said: "The ladies make it 4 from 4 for our senior teams this weekend!

"An impressive display saw them secure a fantastic 52-5 win over local rivals Winscombe R.F.C, continuing their unbeaten league run, and maintaining their place at the top of the league."

The team are back in action away from home on April 7 as they take on Bath Ladies Spartans.

Then on Sunday, April 14, they are back at home for the last game of the league campaign as they host Bridgwater & Albion Ladies.
