Weston-super-Mare AFC will look to snap a three-game losing streak on Tuesday evening against an in-form Farnborough team who have won their last five in a row.

Weston are coming off the back of a 1-0 away loss to Maidstone United that saw them produce very few chances despite enjoying large amounts of the play, but their squad has been hit by injuries to several of their key players means Weston have found it hard to find their rhythm in their past few games.

However, a number of these players are set to return for Tuesday’s game to add a boost to Scott Bartlett’s side who currently sit in 15th and will be hoping to get back to winning ways before a very busy end to the season.

10th place Farnborough on the other hand are coming into the game in strong form, having won their last five games, and off the back of a win in Dover that saw them fight back from 1-0 down to win 3-1 in what ended up being a comfortable performance.

The Hampshire side will be missing Aaron Kuhl though, he was recalled from his loan by parent club Dorking Wanderers after his brace on the weekend.

The two teams have faced each other twice already this season, once in the league and once in the FA Cup, with the contest currently tied on one win a piece.

Including Farnborough, The Seagulls now face 9 league games in 26 days, with the addition of a minimum of one more cup game, but manager Steve Bartlett says they’re ready to go:

“We’re looking forward to getting some fresh bodies back on Tuesday because we’ve got a really tough schedule coming up.”

“We’ve just got to get into the groove where we’re all fit, ready and flying because we’ve got a ridiculous schedule that is hard on the players but listen, we take each game as it comes.

“I think we’ve got some brilliant games coming up and we’re really looking forward to it.”
