A huge tie between division leaders took place in the Weston-super-Mare and District Football League Doug Atwell Memorial Shield Quarter Finals as Division 2 leaders Haywood Village took on Division 1 Leaders Swiss Valley Rangers with the Division 2 side winning 3-2.

Goal machine Nick Lee added two more and James Cleaves one for Haywood village, while Charles Mott and James Teteris scored for Valley.

In the same competition Isle of Wedmore won 2-0 against Worle Reserves, and Churchill Club 70 took on Sporting Weston Reserves beating them 3-1.

Berrow reserves reached the final of the Challenge cup with a 3-0 win over Axbridge United Reserves, with help from an own goal.

In the Bob Keyes Memorial cup Portishead Town Colts recorded a 4-1 win over Weston Crusaders which included a brace for Harry Howes.

In the delayed Somerset Intermediate Cup Quarter Final Highburn Athletic beat Forton Rangers Res 5-0 to join Haywood Village in the Semi-Final.

Highburn were impressive in their performance and shared the goals around with five different scorers.

In Division 2 Clevedon United A won in a 3-2 win over Worle Rangers Reserves, and St George Easton In Gordano Reserves beat Hutton Reserves 2-1.

In Division 3 Leaders Sporting Weston Colts beat Banwell Res 4-0 whilst AFC Nailsea moved up to fourth in the table following a 2-1 win against St George Easton In Gordano A’s.

In Division 4 Ryan Melbourne scored the only goal of the game for Shipham against Coronation Utd whereas Winscombe Res had a brace each from Jamie Claridge and Harry Walsh in a 5-2 win over Burnham United A.
