Weston-super-Mare AFC manager Scott Bartlett was not impressed with his team’s performance on Tuesday night after they lost 3-0 to Farnborough FC.
This was the squad's fourth loss in a row and the team are struggling to produce any real chances throughout the last few games.
Manager Bartlett said: “I thought it was a really poor performance, I just felt that we became a little bit easy to play against.
“Yeah we had loads of the ball but we didn’t hurt them with it, we didn’t penetrate their defence at all until a couple of the substitutions, but at that point the build up was so slow that it didn’t matter because they had nine players in the box.”
“We were a little bit passive and slow, a little bit sideways and backwards, and we didn’t threaten them enough which is how not to play against Farnborough.”
The Seagulls now face a tough end to the season that will see them play eight league games in 24 days.
However, Bartlett doesn’t want the focus to be on the busy schedule.
He said: “We have got a crazy schedule coming up but the more we make of it the worse we seem to be.”
The Seagulls are next in action on Friday in a local derby against Taunton Town.
