Cleeve Cricket Club were knocked out of the Tony Hitch Cup by Keynsham seconds.
The understrength side lost by three wickets in the last 16 match.
Stand-in skipper Mitch Want was dismissed for four in the first over, leaving Cleeve at 9-1.
James Tucker and Jack Spiers formed a promising partnership, adding 44 runs before Tucker was caught for 25.
Spiers was the only other player to make a meaningful contribution, scoring 41 before holing out on the deep square leg boundary.
Cleeve's strong start faltered, ending at 92 all out in the 16th over.
Spiers continued his form with the ball, taking one wicket for four runs in four overs.
He removed Kennedy for one, with a catch by James Cole.
At 39-5 in the 12th over, Keynsham's top five batters failed to reach double digits, giving hope to Cleeve.
Oli Freeman and James Tucker each took two wickets, while George Parsons made a catch and Tom Carpenter a stumping.
However, late wickets by Want and Andy Barnsley were not enough to prevent the Keynsham keeper from leading the home side to victory.
He remained not out on 21, securing the win with five balls to spare.
