Weston-super-Mare's first XI struggled once more as they fell short of a victory against Taunton St Andrews CC.
Winning the toss in their latest Division Two match of the West of England Premier League, the home team decided to bat.
With some excellent bowling from Ranitha Liyanarachichi and Harry Gadsden, Taunton's openers were dismissed without scoring, and the third wicket fell for just 21.
However, the visitors regained control as their next wicket didn't fall until 146.
Taunton went on to achieve a total of 303, using just 47 of their allotted overs.
Despite conceding 78 runs, Gadsden was the pick of the bowlers after taking a five-wicket haul.
In response, Weston's innings with the bat was disappointing.
Jack Press, who had scored 138 in a previous match, was adjudged leg before wicket just as he was getting into his stride.
Liyanarachichi scored 44, Chris Davidson 42, Cam Melly 22, and Charlie Cunningham 20, but none of them could deliver a match-winning score.
The home side was all out for 176 in the 37th over, failing once again to use all their allotted 50 overs.
However, the second XI did much better in their Division One Somerset League match against Winscombe.
Winning the toss, Weston elected to bat, with Sam Trego opening the batting and scoring 77 off 65 deliveries.
Tim Foden was the highlight of the innings, looking certain for a century before being run out for 85.
Jack Trego scored 44, and Jinesh hit a well-crafted 51, taking the visitors to an impressive 309 from their 45 overs.
Winscombe replied with 272, losing their last wicket in the 45th over.
The wicket-takers were Sam Trego with 4-37 and Singh with 3-45.
The third XI also enjoyed a comfortable victory at home to Wembdon in the Somerset League Division Five North.
They bowled the visitors out for 136, with Jaswin Antony picking up 4-11.
Weston then knocked off the runs in the 25th over, with John Fleming contributing 57 and James Turner a stylish but hard-hitting 41.
The fourth XI were the visitors at Temple Cloud in a Somerset League Division Seven North fixture.
The home side racked up 329 off their 40 overs, and while Weston gave it a good chase, they ended up 23 short.
Henry Neave scored 70, Will Hughes 53, and Woody Milton 40.
