Weston-super-Mare AFC welcome another football league side to the Optima Stadium on Saturday (July 25) as Exeter City are the visitors.
The two clubs have had several players over the years who have played for both clubs, most notably England and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
In the current squad, Liam Sercombe has represented both sides, having played more than 200 times for Exeter City between 2007 and 2015.
The Seagulls head into the penultimate friendly of the summer in confident mood after dispatching Southern League Premier South side Taunton Town 4-0 away from home on Tuesday (July 21).
Exeter’s first friendly of the season was a tough one for Grecians fans as they lost 1-0 to National League South side Truro City away from home.
For Weston, they lost to divisional rivals Torquay United before the Taunton game and drew 1-1 at Western League Premier side Clevedon Town following their 3-0 defeat to League Two side Bristol Rovers.
