Victoria Bowls Club enjoyed a successful week, starting with a decisive win when they visited St Andrews in the Men's North Somerset Cup.
They built a substantial 63-21 lead, prompting the home team to concede.
In a gripping encounter at home, the Victoria ladies narrowly defeated Congresbury in the Weston District, winning 42-41.
Despite losing two games, the triplet of M Slavin, F Payne, and D Welfare secured a 23-10 victory.
However, the Vikings' trip to Portishead was less prosperous, with the team returning with just two points, courtesy of E George, J Ettinger, and P Coumis' 16-14 win.
In the County League fixtures, Victoria A and Victoria B both played at home.
Victoria A faced league leaders Bath and initially maintained the lead for three-quarters of the match.
However, Bath rallied in the final stages to win 52-46.
The standout performance for Victoria came from D Carpenter, S Davies, W Harrison, and Captain D Nutt, who won their rink 18-13.
Victoria B continued their unbeaten run this season with a comfortable win over Congresbury B.
The victorious line-ups were B Pocock, J Ettinger, J Newman, D Fairhurst; R Rockett, P Sugg, A Bradley, and I Wilson; and Carmine, N Chenoweth, H Gibbs, and R Crawford.
