Wrington Redhill held Imperial to a goalless draw despite playing with 10 men for the final half-hour.

Jack English had to make changes to the Wrington back line, but Lewis Milkins, Edwards, Skuse and Andrews dealt with the attacks that came their way.

The visitors created the first opportunity when Marshall Hale played the ball through to Hutchings.

His shot was comfortably saved by Imperial goalkeeper Harper.

Imperial’s main chances before the interval came from corners.

Centre-half Simpkins met deliveries from both the left and right, but each effort went straight at Rob Hannah, who gathered them.

Hannah’s kicking also helped start attacks, finding Harrison Campbell and Lewis Chappell.

Hale was becoming a threat in midfield and created opportunities as he moved forward.

First Siddall and then Simpkins were booked for tackles to stop him.

Campbell had picked up a knock during the first half and was replaced at the interval by Jaiden Morris.

Morris initially linked well with Chappell on the right.

Cam Milkins then put Hutchings through on the left.

As Hutchings moved towards goal, Harper came off his line and stopped the chance.

The main incident followed soon afterwards.

Morris chased a long through ball as Harper advanced from his goal to clear.

The goalkeeper reached the ball first, but Morris caught him as he cleared and was shown a straight red card.

Hale, who is a qualified physio, helped attend to the injured goalkeeper, who recovered and played the rest of the match.

Imperial applied pressure after the dismissal, but Wrington Redhill defended firmly.

The best chance fell to Hale, who tried to lift the ball over Harper, but the goalkeeper managed to tip the effort over the bar.

Imperial continued to press, but the visitors held on for a share of the points.

Neither side found a goal, and the match finished 0-0.
