THE Axbridge Animals are aiming for a hat-trick when they host the third event of the 2013 Team15 (T15) South Zone Inter-Club Championship at Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club in Axbridge on Saturday.
The teams competing with the Animals will be the Oxford Zoomers, Will’s Weymouth Warriors, Calshot Flyers, Queen Mary Skimmers, Academy Allstars and the Portsmouth Windriders.
The home team has already won the first two events of the series, with Will’s Weymouth Warriors and Oxford Zoomers snapping at their heels, so it is all to play for.
If they win, the Animals will go through to the national Team15 Champions Cup in October with an event to spare.
The youngsters will compete in four different windsurfing classes - 3.5m, 4.5m, 5.8m and 6.8m, with their individual performances counting towards the team results.
