Weston Sea Angling Association members received their awards at a recent ceremony in Worle.

Weston Sea Angling Association held its annual awards, despite the freezing temperatures and snow.

The ceremony was held at the Scout Hut in Worle and was well attended by many anglers. A delicious buffet was provided and everyone enjoyed much merriment and banter.

Trophies and awards were given by chairman Nigel Pepperand Jeff Reasons, owner of Thyers Tackle in Highbridge.

The star of the show was seven-year-old Harrison Izzard of Axbridge, scooping an amazing 10 trophies and even beating the adults in the specimens.

Many thanks go to the sponsors for their continued support and the club look forward to seeing many new faces this year.
