MARK Village Short Mat Bowls Club held their autumn charity tournament in aid of muscular dystrophy.
This was well supported by 12 teams, 11 local Somerset teams and one from Wales.
In a competitive, but friendly competition, the winners in a close final were the Welsh team from Skewen, near Neath, and runners-up were Evercreech.
Mark Village chairman John Shepherd was pleased to present a cheque for �320 to the charity.
