Weston Aerobic Gymnastic Club member Jess Taylor has been awarded the Young Volunteer of the Year by British Gymnastics.
WESTON Aerobic Gymnastics Club attended the glittering British Gymnastics award ceremony in Telford, with Jessica Taylor shortlisted for the Young Volunteer of the Year.
Jessica, aged 17, gives up many hours a week to coach and judge for the club, and also is chairperson of the Gemstone Young Leaders Academy.
She combines this with her hours at Weston Technical College and a part-time job.
Jess was presented with her award by Olympian Kate Driscoll in recognition or the work she does for gymnastics. Jess has been instrumental is the club’s continued success at all levels.
