THE Banwell Under-16s are on their way to Amsterdam to compete in a Sports Tours international tournament.
The club’s manager Julian Bond said: “I thought it would be nice as their last year as juniors to play abroad.
“They are all really keen and really excited, some of them have never been abroad before. We’re really looking forward to it.”
The team of 13 boys will be in Amsterdam from August 16-19.
Somerset Savings and Loans donated shirts to the team, but they are looking for more sponsors. Anyone willing to sponsor the team should call Julian on 07505 628074.
