FOOTBALL Focus will be screened live from Weston ahead of the club’s glamour FA Cup tie with Doncaster Rovers it has been revealed, after television schedules were publicised by the BBC and BT Sport.

While the Seagulls have missed out on the chance of a live televised fixture, the popular football show will be broadcasting from the Woodspring Stadium at lunchtime on November 8, ahead of the 3pm kick-off.

The club had hoped of securing a £67,500 windfall from a televised match but they will still appear on the BBC’s FA Cup highlights programme.

The BBC chose to screen Warrington Town’s clash with Exeter City on November 7 instead. BT Sport meanwhile picked the all-Yorkshire clash involving FC Halifax Town and Bradford City plus Preston North End’s trip to Havant & Waterlooville.

Weston have announced ticket prices for the visit of Sky Bet League One outfit Doncaster. Admission is priced £5-15 and tickets will go on sale from the club at 8.30am on Saturday.
