MORE than 500 bikers took to the saddle to battle for glory at the Weston Beach Race this week.
Crowds flocked to the three-day motor sport event, which enjoyed improved conditions after treacherous weather and a huge pile-up forced last year’s event to be abandoned.
There were no such fears this time around, however - and even 17-year-old rider Ty Kellett, left in a coma after last year’s crash, returned to the track to compete again. Our photographers were in the thick of the action - and you can see their photos by picking up tomorrow’s Weston Mercury.
