Darts star Becky Gould recently won the Somerset darts singles title for the third consecutive year.
WESTON darts star Becky Gould won the Somerset Super League ladies darts singles for the third consecutive year with a 3-0 win over Bath player Jackie Sharp.
Becky, sponsored by Worle Autos Ltd and the Bristol Hotel, Locking Road, has been playing darts since the age of 16, and from throwing her first dart in her grandmothers’ kitchen, has progressed through local leagues, winning numerous accolades along the way.
She has represented Somerset and up to national level. Becky is currently placed first with Somerset ladies and second in the BICC Division 2 rankings, and with her pairs partner Leigh Taylor, currently holds the title of Wilf Mitchard Memorial mixed pairs title, a prestigious title within the county.
Becky’s biggest achievement to date is reaching the last 16 in the Brean International Open, where she lost to World No1 player Deta Hedman 3-1 to be placed ninth overall in the tournament.
