Belvedere remain unbeaten
Belvedere won their fourth match to remain unbeaten for the season.
BELVEDERE seconds entertained Huish & Lanport 3rds at Priory School and registered their fourth straight win on the trot.
Having won the toss, they opted to bowl first. The opening pair of Strang and Waldrond proved difficult to remove until Davis (1-19) enticed the latter which was well caught by Ward.
The introduction of Nathan Hancock (3-39) and Sam Jennings (4-27) proved decisive as they went through the visitors batting order and the innings ended on 167-8.
In reply, Belvedere took their score to 41 before Hosey went leg before to the impressive Jenkinson. Another couple of quick wickets soon followed before Hancock (48) and Sam Neate (37) steadied the innings. However, after both departed, it was left to Sam Fernley to win the game for the current league leaders with a fine 37 not out and reached their target with a towering six.
