Belvedere seconds coasted to a nine wicket win at Wedmore.
BELVEDERE 2nd XI travelled to Wedmore and came away with a resounding nine wicket win.
The home team were asked to bat and were soon in trouble as Davis (4-28) removed the top order. Wickets continued to fall and only after some late resistance, Wedmore took their score to 91 all out, other wickets falling to Britton (1-17), Rogerson (3-22) and James Robinson (2-21), which included a fine caught and bowled.
After tea, Belvedere lost an early wicket to a run out. After a cautious start, Jon Lodge put the bowlers to the sword with a swashbuckling 57 not out which included seven fours and three sixes. At the other end, Calvin Ward made a patient 18 not out, Belvedere winning in the 17th over.
Eurocams man of the match went to Jon Lodge.
