Long Ashton Golf Club’s Bethan Popel has enjoyed success in several national ladies’ events for England.
BETHAN Popel, who plays at Long Ashton Golf Club off a +2 handicap and is only 18, has just done well in several national ladies’ events over the last two weeks.
She was picked for the England Nations Cup side playing at Douglas Golf Club in Cork, where she tied eighth individually and the team finished second.
She was then picked for the England Nations Cup team at the St Rule Trophy at St Andrews Golf Club and finished 14th individually and the team won the cup.
Bethan is playing in the county week at Yeovil Golf Club and in a couple of weeks time is off to the British Amateur Championship at Royal St Georges Club.
