Wu Shu Ky Freestyle Kickboxing Club under the guidance of 6th Dan Master Silvio Camilleri, has returned to Weston.

Gradings recently took place at the Wu Shu Ky Freestyle Kickboxing Club under the guidance of Master Silvio Camilleri, 6th Dan.

The club trains out of WAMA Gym in Sunnyside Road from where Master Silvio leads the classes.

Two students took part in November’s advanced grading where one attained his black belt and the other graded through to his blue. Both students have worked very hard to get themselves up to the standards required.

The Wu Shu Ky style was originally founded in Weston by Malcolm Burt. Master Silvio took the style over to Malta where he has successfully run his club for the past 20 years.

The club in Malta continues to be a success and now with Master Silvio returning to the UK, the style has also returned.

The club currently holds junior kickboxing classes (age 7-16 years) on a Wednesday at 5pm. Feel free to drop in and give it a try, the first lesson is free then £4 thereafter.

For any further information on junior kickboxing or any other classes/gym membership, please call WAMA Gym on 01934 414183 or visit the website at www.wamagym.com
