St Andrews sisters Rebecca and Jennifer McMillan won two titles at the Clevedon Open tournament.

Winscombe Ladies won the Iris Owen Trophy for the first time after beating St Andrews.

Tony Lay, Denis Holborow and Barrie Forse won the inaugural Simonstone Trophy competition at St Andrews on Sunday.

Banwell Bowls Club had a mixed week, which began with Turnbull Cup defeat against St Andrews.

Ashcombe Park's annual Grandparents Day was enjoyed by young and old and the club plan to hold a school holiday event to keep youngsters interested.

St Andrews Ladies saw hopes of a fifth Southey Trophy in 11 years shattered by Bath at South Petherton.

Victoria Bowls Club have formed a junior section, after a member's grandson showed interest in the sport.

Yatton Bowling Club recently played host to local groups and organisations to introduce people to the sport and encourage them to join a local club.
