Winscombe & Sandford Millennium Green Trust held its fourth annual boules tournament.

THE fourth boules tournament took place at the old station green in Winscombe.

The event on the popular community-owned environmental site was looking at its best and there was some keen play throughout.

All pitches were in play for the rounds in the morning, with the knockout final in the afternoon.

Excellent bowling in the final between the Otters from Axbridge and the Jokers from Sandford, resulted in a worthy win for the Jokers, who took the trophy for the third time.

The day was a great success for organisers Winscombe & Sandford Millennium Green Trust.
