HARD-working Burnham-on-Sea officials turned up at the Recreation Ground, Bath, recently to receive their RFU Seal of Approval Award prior to the England Saxons game against Ireland A.

Former Bath favourite and England centre Phil de Glanville presented the certificate's that endorses the RFU's member clubs commitment to examining, maintaining and improving the provision of rugby within their respective mini and junior sections.

Burnham were represented by former club chairman and current colts coach Mark Watkins, along with the clubs child welfare officer Elaine Paul, who along with others in the club have worked hard together to meet the SoA criteria.

"It's been two years hard work getting it all together but it's been fantastic," said Mark. "It's a good achievement for the club and we'll also be opening new changing rooms very shortly so it's all very good news at the moment.
