Burnham second team enjoyed a comprehensive victory at Wellington.

BURNHAM’S second string returned from Wellington with a comprehensive victory.

The visitors took the lead through James Ozgood, converted by Will Conway, soon followed by a try for Wilcox, again converted by Conway.

Wellington replied with an interception try, but Burnham hit back with tries for Matt Mitchell and George Mitchell before the break, both converted by Conway.

In the second half, there was a hat-trick for Ben Gibb and tries for Ryan Maynard and Sam Hall. Ed Lewis, Henry Bigwood and Peters all enjoyed good games.
