Jamie Laird and Ben Kirk have both left Weston for Southern League Premier side Bideford this week.
Midfielder Kirk, who captained the Seagulls last term, thanked fans for their support during his four-year stay at the Woodspring Stadium, but said he needed a ‘new challenge’.
He will be joined in Devon by goalkeeper Irish, who spent part of last season on loan at Tiverton Town, but regained his spot as the Seagulls’ number one following an injury to Luke Purnell.
The club have also announced this week Jake Harris, Jake Mawford, Syd Camper and Jake Llewellyn all signing new deals for the new season.
