Uphill Castle’s home match against Bishops Lydeard was a victim of the weather.

UPHILL Castle’s game against Bishops Lydeard was abandoned due to rain with the match evenly poised.

Winning the toss, Uphill inserted Lydeard, who had progressed to for 123-2 from 28.5 overs before the rain came. Wickets were taken by Cox (1-16) and Winn (1-32). For Lydeard, Lewis had reached 61 off 53 balls.
