Cheddar have confirmed their pre-season schedule with four games next month and two yet to be announced.

The Cheesemen are set to start training on Tuesday June 21 and play at Wellington on Saturday July 2.

Cheddar welcome Welton Rovers to Bowdens Park a week later before taking on Rockleaze two weeks later at a venue yet to be decided before travelling to Winscombe three days later.

Cheddar are also looking to play two further games - against Somerset or Gloucestershire County Premier League sides - before the new 2022-23 season kicks off on Saturday July 30.

Fixtures, Saturday July 2, Wellington, (A), 3pm; Saturday July 9, Welton Rovers (H), 3pm; Saturday July 23, Rockleaze, 3pm; Tuesday July 26, Winscombe (A), 7.45pm.

*Cheddar Ladies received their league runners-up medals at Street FC’s Tannery Ground, following their excellent season.

The Ladies achieved second place in the Somerset Women’s League Division Three, which will enable them to play in Division Two next season.

Cheddar Ladies will shortly be starting their pre-season training and are looking for unpractised players for the forthcoming season.
