AT the recent AMA International in Sheffield, Chelsie Ware who lives in Weston and trains at Clevedon Karate Kai continued with her winning form.
In the last three competitions Chelsie has won the kata category for her age group, twice having also beaten England A squad members to get there. Chelsie was also called on at this event to take part in the kumite (fighting) and again came away with a bronze in her own category and another in the open weight. Chelsie started to train with the Clevedon club at the age of six, now nine years later her hard work and commitment to the sport is proving just how far she has progressed.
Clevedon train Tuesday and Friday evening at All Saints Church Hall, where they have been for some 20 years.
