Clarence Bowls picked up the Jim McClelland Cup with victory over St Andrews last Saturday.
After overhead threatening skies at the start of the match looked to have threatened the annual contest, they slowly drifted away leaving St Andrews warm and sunny for the last competitive match of the season.
A composed performance by Clarence throughout the day saw them lead the way with a confident display against St Andrews.
Rink of the day went to Bob Rossiter and Bob Coleman with skip David Stott who were 12-up after just three ends, gradually building on their lead to pick up the win and take the match by 22-shots and pick up the shield.
