But they will miss out on two local derbies next season as Mangotsfield United and Yate Town are demoted to the league's South and West Division.Oxford, looking for a play-off place, started strongly with former Bristol Rovers midfielder Dave Savage went close and two minutes later Clevedon lost Kyle Bassett through injury, Sam Small taking over and was soon involved in the action.Clevedon keeper Danny Greaves made a superb save to deny Darren Pond, turning the shot over his bar on 14 minutes.Clevedon's first real chance fell to Peter Sheppard on 53 minutes, but Oxford keeper Ryan Harrison made a good save. Jamel Easter was denied by Harrison ten minutes later and Small had the ball in the Oxford net but was denied by an offside flag.The game's only goal came on 86 mintues when substitute Mark Bell beat Greaves and two minutes later Harrison denied Sheppard to earn Oxford maximum points.
