A cake sale and coaching morning was held at Woodland Tennis Club in aid of Macmillan.
Woodland Tennis Club got involved in raising money for Macmillan by holding a cakes and coaching morning for its ladies, followed by a cake sale during its Saturday morning junior coaching sessions.
Janis Limna’s gin cake went down a storm with the seniors who felt that it aided the quality of their ground strokes. Meanwhile, the juniors enjoyed cupcakes and the occasional hot dog in between honing their match play. A total of £365 was raised.
